4th of July Events in 2022

Come celebrate the 4th of July in our quaint seaside town. Local residents and visitors are encouraged to participate.

Monday, July 4th:

11:00 AM Meet behind the BTI to stage for the Parade, All vehicles and bicycles are welcome to join the parade. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated car, bike and business will be awarded.

12:00 PM Parade begins. The parade route will start behind the BTI and wind its way through the residential district and then down to the Harbor District.

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Scavenger Hunt – Pick up a map to Whittier’s Scavenger Hunt at the Harbormasters office or various harbor front stores.

10:00 PM Fireworks

12:01 AM – 12:15 AM Tunnel Special Opening for departure after the fireworks

Sidewalk Chalk & Bubbles will be staged around town for families to celebrate the 4th of July.
