Salmon Berry Travel and Tours is based in Anchorage, Alaska. We have a unique and long time partnership with the Whittier Chamber of Commerce and several Whittier-based tourism partners. During the busy cruise months of May through September, our company provides cruise ship transfers from Whittier and to Whittier from Anchorage. This full day tour from Whittier is narrated by a local Alaskan guide and includes an aerial tram ride up Mt. Alyeska, a tour of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, lunch at a local eatery, a drive down Portage Valley and 2.5 miles through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, the longest highway tunnel in North America! There are scenic photo stops along the way…….all before you are dropped off at your hotel or at the Anchorage airport for your flight home!

Following your pick up at the Whittier Cruise Ship Terminal, sit back with your luggage secured in our comfortable and clean sprinter vans as your driver guides you Northbound on the famous Seward Highway!

Note: Day tours do not include gratuities. Your tour may include more than one guide, in addition to your Salmon Berry guide. If you feel each of these has provided a great experience, tips are greatly appreciated. We recommend tipping your guide 10% – 15% of the tour price.

Multi-Day Itinerary Cancellation Policy: A 50% deposit is required to start the booking process. Remainder is due 60 days prior to travel. Cancellations must be made in writing (email, fax, or mail). Processing fee of $100 per guest applies for cancellations more than 60 days before travel, or 50% of total if received less than 60 days from travel. No refund applies if cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to travel.

Day Tour Cancellation Policy: For cancellations outside of 14 days before the first day of your tour, a 10% fee will be withheld. For cancellations inside of 14 days, no refund applies.
